No film or plates are required (as in offset printing). New technology has made it possible to use a state-of-the-art digital format, whereby images can be scanned in or transmitted electronically into memory to be stored for further use. Data only needs to be input once, reducing much of the pre-press setup time involved in traditional printing methods. This reduction of time reduces the cost of your printing job. |

Our copiers are Connected.
What that means is that our copiers are interfaced together with our desktop publishing and imaging systems, allowing us to print directly to the copier without creating originals. This presents an image quality normally seen only in laser prints or via press, at a fraction of the cost.

Black and White Digital Printing.
Digital copying refers to devices which scan an image and convert it into a digital file, which is then reproduced on a laser printer engine. Digital printing in a production environment refers to printing files to large volume devices such as connected copiers. In both cases, the reward is a higher quality, straighter print with far superior grayscale reproduction of photographs and graphics. COPYMAX Inc. uses digital machines to achieve superior quality. The additional benefit over analog machines is that the original is scanned once, printed many times and collating and book-making features are done automatically. Result: your job is completed more quickly. |

Color Digital Printing.
As with black and white digital printing, the color image is scanned into memory during color copying, or complete files are printed to the machine from desktop publishing software. COPYMAX Inc.’s connected color unit is operated under the watchful eye of a skilled designer and technician which means: You get great color! Designers will like the ability to give their customers accurate proofs for final approval. COPYMAX Inc. can provide vivid colors and dense solids. Enlargements and reductions, copying onto heavy card stock—these are options worth remembering.
Connected color printing means that COPYMAX Inc. can economically print full color in very short runs that could only recently be done on large four color presses with set-up costs of hundreds of dollars! Our machine can print on everything from vellum to coated card stock to glossy text to label material. |
